To join us at Pooch Play Care, pooch parents must fill in the registration information prior to their dog's first visit. With the information provided we introduce our new play mate gradually, depending on their behaviour and response when in the separate pen. Many dogs who have been socialising from a young age will be able to join a group quickly whilst others may take longer. At Pooch Play Care it is paramount that dogs are introduced to the group in a gentle, calm manner so they have the best opportunity to learn and succeed whilst in day care.

It is the owners responsibility to provide proof of vaccination to Pooch Play Care from their Veterinarian for each dog attending Day Care. The health and wellbeing of our guests at Pooch Play Care is paramount so if your dog has not been vaccinated they will be unable to attend.
Dog Day Care is not for every dog. Most dogs enjoy the noise, activity, play and social scene of a dog day care centre whilst some dogs prefer smaller packs in a quieter setting. During the trial day and early visits we do our best to ascertain whether your dog is enjoying this new setting or is nervous, anxious, weary or scared. We would expect some of these behaviours in the first few visits but if this continues it may mean that dog day care isn't for your pooch and that's ok! Dogs have different levels of comfort and preferences, just like us!
Here at Pooch Play Care we value the different personalities and characteristics of our pooches and want them to receive the play and care that is best for them and their individual needs.
